Fitball Wedge Jr 10" in Green Review

Fitball Wedge Jr 10 in Green
Average Reviews:

The FitBALL Wedge is not as advertised. This cushion is made of hard plastic and has very little inflation capability. I purchased one thinking that I would have control over the comfort level of this cushion by determining the air pressure. Basically an air bladder that could be adjusted from soft (low air pressure) to hard (high air pressure). Not this cushion. There is a 20% restocking fee to return this item, plus you have to pay for the return shipping. Do not waste your money like I did.
Thank you.

Teeter Hang Ups EZ Up Inversion System with Inversion Rack and Gravity Boots Review

Teeter Hang Ups EZ Up Inversion System with Inversion Rack and Gravity Boots
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
For many years I have been suffering from lower back pain as well as some occasional neck pain. Being a long-time distance runner this seems to come with the territory. Having visited a Chiropractor over the years, I noticed that I would require 'adjustments' more and more often to feel put together. After speaking to a personal trainer at the gym, I got the idea about 'gravity boots' and thus started doing some research. This is how I stumbled upon the Hang Ups EZ Up system. Let me point out a couple of things before you buy this system:
1) You MUST have a relatively strong core in order to use this system and CANNOT weigh more than 250 lbs.
2) The brackets used for the inversion bar require being ATTACHED BY SCREWS to the outside of a door frame -- i.e. The brackets are visible and permanent.
3) The first couple of times you use this, you WILL fumble trying to get up into an inversion position.
All of these things being said, once you get this system down, YOU WILL BE HOOKED!!! The sensation of inversion is so relaxing and relieving that it is almost euphoric. You can literally feel your spine decompress. AHHHH!!! After a couple of weeks of occasional use (every other day for 4-5 minutes) my back pain is all but gone. My neck is noticebly looser as well. For me this was truly money well spent. One last word of warning: If you are not athletic, perhaps you should stick to an inversion table as just the action of getting into the inversion position is like a heavy-duty pull up.

DynaFlex BC0320 Ball Chair with Base Review

DynaFlex BC0320 Ball Chair with Base
Average Reviews:

I ordered this thinking that it could possibly adjust to height differences, or that it would be tall enough for me to sit on comfortably. It is very short and there is no way to adjust it. I do like sitting on it but it puts me low to the ground which I do not like. It would not be compatible with most desks unless you have a tray that can move up and down for your keyboard.

Improve your posture and reduce fatigue at home or in the office with the DynaFlex BC0112 ball fitness chair. Ergonomically designed to align your body while relieving tension and stress on your back, the fitness chair provides a healthy, proactive sitting position, thereby engaging your postural muscles and allowing you to experience the benefits of movement while remaining seated. The chair works by constantly encouraging some type of motion, helping keep you alert throughout the day. That's because the unstable surface encourages your body to find the most efficient way to balance. Since the best way to sit is with proper spinal alignment, you'll have a natural tendency to sit upright with good posture, thereby improving your balance, posture, core stability, and core strength all in one. A ball chair even helps improve circulation, letting you sit back without back stiffness and fatigue. Best of all, research has shown that seemingly minor physical activity--such as active sitting--can burn up to 350 extra calories a day.

Gaiam Balance Ball Chair (Black) Review

Gaiam Balance Ball Chair (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this Gaiam Balance Ball Chair in late December 2005.
It's an item you have to get used to if you've sat in regular office chairs for a long time (I've sat in padded-foam/plastic chairs for over 15 years, over 40 hours per week). I'm 6 feet tall, 155 lb., and practice Vinyasa Yoga every now-and-then, and I am no Yoga expert by any means.
1. The purpose of doing Yoga ball exercise is to align your body through training the core muscle in your torso--your abdominal muscle will help support your back. This practice, over time, will give you better posture. Also, "constant-centering" myself on the ball reminds me not to bend forward my shoulders or slouch.
2. My old office chair has a pneumatic height adjustment at 19"-20" This ball seat height (with the doughnut-shape base) is about 23" tall; sitting down on it, at my weight, brings it down to about 18"--of course, it will depend on your monitor/keyboard setup and on how much air you put in the ball. I raised the table height 3" higher and purchased an adjustable keyboard/mouse extension tray. I make the ball as firm as possible.
3. The back support is detachable (which I've done) and allows you to center yourself over it more. Don't lean on the back support for too long, or you may hurt your lower back.
4. You will experience some back pain for a few days, some shoulder pain if you're use to having an armrest, and neck pain if you had a headrest. Keeping my chest open and head up help my abs stay taut.
Minus half-star for the rolling wheels because they sometimes trip me over when I get up and stand. So, I spread my feet and use my leg muscles to stand upright. I recommend it still because it motivates me to get up and walk around. It's not healthy to allow the legs be pooled with blood (which causes veining) over two-three hours at a time. This item is at a decent price range, offered here on Amazon. Hope this helps!

FitBALL Office Chair Package Review

FitBALL Office Chair Package
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Overall, I love the chair, the company needs to put better wheels on it and provide a better pump (or none at all).FitBALL Office Chair Package
Prior to buying, I read a lot of the negative reviews. Some of them stated that the ball went through the chair and touched the ground. I would say that it must not have been pumped up enough. I have no problem with this and I have the chair adjusted all the way to the lowest setting.
Another complaint was that the back support is too far back. The purpose of this chair is to built your core, and you are not going to do that by leaning back onto a back support. If I sit back further on the ball, my back is supported if I need it to be, but I do not usually sit that far back.
Another complaint was that the chair did not fit properly for the height of the person, I would suggest some research to make sure you understand what size ball you should buy.
I like the fact that this ball is unbreakable , compared to other ball chairs. It also has a sturdy frame. I think that the wheels will be the first things to go, they are cheap. Don't even bother with the pump, it doesn't work. Use a bike pump with the correct fitting.
One thing that was not clear to me and I think I finally found something that explained it was how to pump up the ball. You need a ruler to measure the height of the ball. You don't use pressure, like other blow up items.

I bought this for a student in my class and it has been helpful in reducing her wiggles and tendency to fall out of her seat. But be aware that when you first get this item, it will need several weeks to off-gas. Otherwise the fumes are rather strong!

Teeter Hang Ups EZ Up Inversion Rack Review

Teeter Hang Ups EZ Up Inversion Rack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I wanted one of these for a long time. I just didn't know it. I always loved the Hangup Boots, but never bought them because I didn't want the big inversion table. Then I woke up one morning with a drive to get the boots and just find something (a jungle gym perhaps) to hang from. And then I saw this rack that hangs in your door. It was perfect! It installed easily in my studio doorway. It can be used for pullups or just something to stretch out with everytime I walk in and out of the room. Our daughter is constantly climbing on it and inadvertantly getting great exersise. I did get the inversion boots as well and try to find ten minutes a day to hang upside down. It gets blood to the brain and takes pressure off the spine. You can get a totally different work out being inverted. I highly recommend this to everyone, but especially fellow yogis. Yoga is great for working out back problems and this rack (paired with the Hangup boots) really helps with strengthening and lengthening the back. Cobra pose without a floor!
I am glad I didn't hessitate in getting this. I use it everyday.

The Teeter Hang Ups EZ-Up inversion rack offers a full body stretch and is a great tool for inverted exercises (like crunches, sit-ups and squats). Full range inverted sit-ups become ten times tougher than horizontal sit-ups--with minimal load on the back. It installs to the top of a door frame, but does not interfere with the function of the door, and takes up no floor space--ideal for cramped living spaces.
The EZ-Up inversion rack is compatible with optional Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots. Designed for the fit and flexible user, it offers a safe and convenient method of full inversion. The dual bar system is designed for easier mounting and dismounting, and allows you to hang free from the door frame for maximum range of motion.
Feature Detail:
Sturdy materials assembled with bolts (no welds)
Adjustable for doorways 28" to 36"
Locking brackets are mounted with screws in the door frame for security. Locking pieces snap over the rack to keep it in place, but can be unlocked to remove the rack from the door frame. In place, the rack will not interfere with the operation of the door.
Door savers help protect the door frame from damage.
Easy-to-reach handles provide help to the user for moving into and out of the inverted position.
Double-bar system places the user out and above the door frame for extra height and full range of movement. You don't have to bend completely in half to mount and dismount the rack.
High-quality, scratch-resistant powder-coating
Foam hand grips make mounting and dismounting more comfortable, and help prevent calluses and slippery hands when performing chin-ups.
Weight capacity: 250 pounds

Note about installation: The EZ-Up inversion rack must be installed in a solid wood door frame constructed according to national building code standards.
