(More customer reviews)This little lounger is a great way to exercise and watch t.v. or listen to music. It is the BEST way to do painless (even COMFORTABLE)sit-ups. I even use it as an inversion table in the reverse-stretch position. I paid $150. for this, including shipping and was really disappointed to find it at the local Linens and Things for 79.99. I'm not so young, and the idea of disassembling,packing and returning was just too much for me. I must also say...it was heck to assemble. I did it in a couple of sittings. BUT WORTH IT ! You won't be sorry. Wish that it came in choices of colors and base designs. I'd love to have it as a permanent fixture in my living room. To make it look a little "homier" , I added a faux lamb's rug to cover the seat. Also makes for warm, soft, cozy exercising.

Ab Circle Pro Review

(More customer reviews)I posted a review for this piece of junk that has now been removed. It's curious that all of the reviews that are now out there say the same thing and I find them highly suspect.
With less than an hour's use, the left kneepad had a lateral crack that ran across the mounting hole. By the time I sent an Email to report the problem, the Right kneepad cracked in almost the identical place.
The paint was flaking after the first use, and I at first thought that it was wax because it was sticking to the rollers, and making them not roll smooth, but after cleaning the rollers and wiping the unit down, I ccould see that the paint was coming off where the rollers were tracking. Note: the position of the rollers is welded, and unadjustable, and they are not centered on the rolling surface. All of the users weight rests on less than half of the roller surface.
The counter sets on a bracket that doesn't quite fit the slot it goes into, and after several reps on the machine, the counter fell off several times until I taped it in place.
The spacer bar for the arms that the kneepads set on, pops off, and you have to stop your exercise routine to put it back in place.
I posted pictures of what it looked like with only three weeks use, but they have now been pulled, and different pictures of models on the machines are in their place.
Don't waste Your money.

Proform Ab Glider Review

(More customer reviews)I see that the owner of Proform has provided commentary just prior to mine. I hope he can explain whether the company has recently reduced the length of the Ab Glider handlebars? I was banking on this product. Before buying it, I just couldn't see how it could NOT work to tighten my abdomen. I bought the Ab Glider after repeatedly watching the commercials and reading the glowing reviews. When it arrived and I finally got it assembled and working smoothly, I was shocked to find that the handlebars are at least a foot shorter than in the commercials and as pictured on the box. This throws off the total ergonomics of the unit, making it impossible to pull up with the abdomen without leaning completely into the small handlebars--an awkward and tiresome maneuver that stresses the back far, far more than the abdomen. Because the small handlebars force me to lean into them, I am not provided the leverage to pull up at the abdomen, so I feel no stress or soreness in the abdomen at all after trying to 'exercise."
The machine does not allow for adjustment of the handlebars--neither to raise, nor pull them closer to the body. I've seen others on the Web with this same problem so I know I'm not alone. This is particularly frustrating because I know that if the handlebars were as tall as in the commercials and on the box, I could get a terrific workout.
I'm about to have the unit disassembled to return, but would be very happy just to get a set of the same longer handlebars that are featured in the commercials and in the ads. I'll put them on myself. By the way, I'm average height--not particularly tall or short, so I'm not able to understand why the handlebars should be a problem. Has the owner tested this product with a few different heights and body types? Has the owner considered making the handlebars adjustable or providing varying lengths?
I gave it two stars only because I still have lingering thoughts on how good it could have been. To the owner of the company whose message appears just before mine: What do you suggest I do?
