The Bean Deluxe Ultimate Exerciser with DVD & Pump Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Bean is a neat exercise item -- or would be if it didn't LEAK! Mine lasted about two weeks until it sprung a hole right along a seam. Tried to fix it with the included vinyl patch material, but it won't hold airtight. Thing stays inflated long enough to use, but it's a pain to have to pump it up every single time.
Deal was pretty good...but wound up being not so great due to poor product quality.

(More customer reviews)Simply amazing!!!! I was skeptical at first, but it delivers an intense core work-out without the backache. It is also very comfortable. Sometimes I lye on it and/or work-out while I watch a movie. The material is of high quality and extremely durable; we have three dogs, a cat, and a one-year-old...so far so good. My 250 lb. hubby has also used "The Bean Elite" so the weight rating holds up. If you are worried about deflation or puncture, it comes with repair patches. Also I find that "fix-a-flat" does wonders.
I own "The Bean Elite"; it is silver and teal unlike the navy blue that is shown in most pictures. It also has one gray handle on each side, and comes with a manual pump. It took me about three minutes to inflate. I have seen "The Bean", "The Bean Deluxe", "The Bean Elite", and "The Bean Supreme". In my personal opinion, they are all the same thing made by the same manufacturer. "The Bean" is the only one that is somewhat different because it is not beveled at both ends, and may not be as ergonomic and comfortable as the others. Buy which ever one is cheapest! There is even "The Bean Elite with Flex 10", but for twice the amount of money. If you don't own any resistance equipment than I suppose it may be worth it. However, some simple resistance bands incorporated into my routine with "The Bean Elite" do the same thing at a fraction of the cost.
The only downside to purchasing any one of "The Bean" series is that the manufacturer seams to be out of business. (bean.com is no longer available). For $30 I took my chances, and it turned out to be one of the best pieces of fitness equipment that I have ever purchased. I may not have a manufacturer's warranty, but for $30 I can buy another one...at least while they last. So buy one while you still can!!!

The Bean Ultimate Abdominal Exerciser, Including DVD and Pump Review

(More customer reviews)I am very pleased, and got what I thought I was ordering. I have had a Bean for several years. It is the smaller style. I love the new design and contours. It is much more comfortable. Also, the inflator is much larger and easier to use. Product was shipped in a timely matter. Absolutely no complaints. However, my heart skipped when I saw a picture of the old Bean style on the box. When I opened it up, it was the one I was hoping to get. It is the only exerciser I have ever been able to use due to severe back problems. Most exercisers get me down really bad. The Bean is wonderful! I can watch TV listen to music, or whatever while exercising. I never get tired rocking back and forth. My back doesn't hurt either! That is because the confortable contours support my back where it needs it. If it will help to know, I am in my sixites and love this product.

Ultimate Exerciser Bean Abdominal Toning System With DVD and Pump Review

(More customer reviews)I am furious with this seller for using pictures of the Bean with handles and shipping the old product that has none. The Bean itself is awesome - if you have the handles - without them, it's a waste of money. I want mine back.

The Bean Elite Kit Ultimate Abdominal Exerciser, Including Guide and Pump Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)So far I love my bean!!! I've wanted one for years and haven't been disappointed-(At least not yet!)
I ordered The Bean Elite featured here, but by happy accident ended up with The Bean Supreme instead. I wanted the Supreme version to start with but couldn't find it anywhere on this site! I was ecstatic to find out that I had ended up with the supreme version!!!
However, if I had wanted the elite version I think I'd be pretty PO'd. Oh well!
I've only had my bean for a few days but if I'm ever unhappy with it~(unlikely!) I'll definitely update my review!
I bought Fix-A-Flat - Tire Inflator with Hose, 16 oz. (S420-6) to go along with mine and I haven't had to use it yet but other reviews suggest its effective with this product! I sure hope that if I ever do need it works out ok! Then again I also hope I'll never need to use it on my bean.
(With the large amount of people complaining of deflation I suggest that you get a can of Fix-A-Flat - Tire Inflator with Hose, 16 oz. (S420-6) along with yours too.)
