(More customer reviews)I purchased both the Omron HJ-720ITC and the ACCUSPLIT Eagle AE1691M17 pedometers when my 20 year old Radio Shack unit finally quit. There is no comparison in the reliability of the units with regard to actually counting steps. It is difficult to stop the Omrom from accurately counting whereas the ACCUSPLIT is critically sensitive to orientation, placement on the body and being dislodged during activity.
The ACCUSPLIT has been returned and is being replaced by a second Omron unit.
